On Defining A Superpower

What defines a superpower? What says, after much speculation that America’s power is fading and that we are done for?
Is it the Summer 07 housing crisis that has led to a bank and a january 08 stock crisis?
No.
What defines us, the US, as being still powerful in the world is this: The BBC dedicated 5 hours on Feb 5th, 07, known as Super-Tuesday.
Let me repeat that.
The BBC dedicated five hours of programing to covering a U.S. election. A PRIMARY.
I am sure it will be covered over the world, but a primary? A race where there aren’t even nominees yet.
A Primary.
Tomorrow, we can be called the washed up America, the lost America and even the Fallen America; On this day, I’m calling us simple:The United States of America.
