On the Bloodless Revolution of China

“To sin by silence when they should protest makes cowards of men.” Abraham Lincoln
Rare is the revolution that is bloodless. They are messy, messy things where people get killed and those advocating revolution should realize without the honor of the old days (barely honorable old days). Conversely, I don’t always agree that every 2 by 2 ft map area can be a nation. Sometimes you’re just too small to generate the economy of scale necessary to provide services to your people. In today’s capitalist world, freedom is certainly not free, infact it defiantly cost money.
Much of the world is in revolution, but let us highlight Taiwan and Tibet. We must come to understand that China at one point gave these parts of itself autonomy much as it does/did Hong Kong. However, when those providences push for independence it makes China …, upset. If they declare it, it will cause a violent and military intervention by China. This is a fact people advocating freedom must understand completely. If Taiwan or Tibet declare their independence there will be blood.
Do I believe people in the world should stop trying to be free? Absolutely not! But China isn’t going to stop because we say so. Either they will crush the resistance, or the well go so far that the world will be forced to take a stand. Considering the Genocide happening in some parts of the world without nukes, we wonder what exactly “too far shall be.”
To be clear, I’d rather see Tibet or Taiwan free, but understand, there will be blood. There is always blood.
