I have been driven many times to my knees by the overwhelming conviction that I had nowhere to go. My own wisdom, and that of all about me, seemed insufficient for the day. – Abraham Lincoln<\/font><\/em><\/p>\n

A physchirist can tell you about your inner child, and your church can pray for you, but we are all faced with a loneliness only few of us talk about. We mark time by 2001, that date that no one forgets.<\/p>\n

It still seems like yesterday, nearly 7 years later. I hear about movies, events, and people and can’t believe some are 2003, 2005. Who remembers the big event at that year, (before the really big event.) A US spy plane landed in China in April 1 a<\/a>nd was held for a couple of days. <\/p>\n

Yet, assuming no incidents, on November 6th America will have moved past being angry, remorseful or scared. It will have sucked it up and moved on. More importantly, especially for Generation One <\/a>, the world will no longer be defined by September 11th, 2001, But “Where were you during Election 2008?”<\/p>\n

It does not matter if it is McCain or Obama, there is a glow. But after the reality wonders over to our side of the “big pond” there is still Al-Queda, there is still A depressed economy, there is still a world teetering on $212 a barrel oil, and eyes turned towards the heavens. We are trying to find food for our children, and looking at where we will work, and if we shall be working anywhere ever again.<\/p>\n

At the moment our burden is heavy, at the moment, our burden threaten to buckle the knees as the never before during the 70’s. But then, there came nearly 10, then 20 years of effortless climb toward the sun, that shining city upon a hill. <\/a><\/p>\n

A beacon, a lighthouse, which gives a guide to people who wish to be free. But, like anything on a hill, it is a climb, it is a severe effort and some die, and many simply turn away. As americans, experiencing life so far, we have been standing at on that hill, facing a growing chasm.<\/p>\n

It’s time to walk freely and lay our burdens down.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
